Discovery Writing Class

It’s a place for you to pull up your chair at the plum-painted table and get away. Enjoy the quiet and the laughter and the caring. Listen deeply. Write your truths. See new possibilities. Come alive in your own way. There’s a place waiting for you.

About The Class

This class focuses on a discovery process: using “listening-writing” as a way to explore what you truly desire and a path to follow in creating your future. The only requirements are a desire to examine your life for clues to what really matters to you and a willingness to experiment with ways of expressing these truths about yourself. Daily, weekly, and in-class writing experiments are all designed to help you access inner wisdom—your own deepest knowing. Topics include: listening, trusting, imagining, creative project notebooks, writing props and practices, freewriting, affirmations, fears and blocks, and continuing the process after the class ends.

Who This Is For

Individuals who want to

  • explore personal growth through writing
  • develop a centering practice
  • listen to and trust their inner wisdom
  • craft a personally meaningful future.
  • live true

Also for educators / counselors / therapists / healers / seekers / dreamers / creators…

What To Expect

Everyone will be encouraged to begin or continue a writing practice. Each session includes time for guided writing experiments, small group processing, and brief presentations led by the instructor. The atmosphere supports and nurtures learning with each other, while moving at your own pace and in your own direction.

Instructor
